When teaching you your dance we have three main goals in mind:

2. To make sure you are completely comfortable with every single move, dip, or trick you have learned by the time your big day rolls around.
3. To give you all the tools you need to have lots of fun on your wedding night.

We want to make sure that on the night of your wedding you step out on the dance floor with confidence and that, instead of feeling nervous and anxious, you'll be able to have lots of fun. Experience shows us that the more the dance becomes intuitive and a part of your muscle memory, the more fun you'll have!

There are countless beautiful love songs written that express the intense and intimate feelings of the wedding couple for one another far more poetically than most of us can. Every one of these songs will call on a particular dance and set of steps to take its message to new heights. When you use movements that go beautifully with your song, you and your audience will identify with the music in a new way, as though the song suddenly makes more sense.

The best way to find the song that is right for you is to listen to lots and lots of them, until you stop and exclaim: "This is it! This is how I feel about my fiance!" Bring the song of your choice to your first lesson and we'll do the rest! One of the newest trends these days is to start with a traditional song, then to speed it up with a groovy Hip Hop, Swing, or Salsa routine. When it comes to your wedding dance, you should consider starting your lessons as early as possible. Starting early offeres many benefits some of which are outlines below:

• You'll have time to solidify what you've learned and make it part of your muscle memory. This will ensure that you'll look and feel more relaxed when you are dancing at your wedding.
• You'll be able to learn more patterns which you can use not only during your wedding dance, but during any dance for the rest of your life. It's always nice to have more tricks in your bag to pull from.
• You might have time to learn additional dances and moves that you can show off during the reception.
• You minimize the chances of forgetting moves and transitions because you'll have more practice.
• There is often not much time for dancing during the few months leading to the wedding. It's best to take the bulk of your lessons about four to six months before the big date, then have a couple of refresher lessons right before the wedding.
